I rescued and compiled pictures of John Victor (called Vic) Carlson, his wife Jenny Marie (Wattman), their children and grandchildren, and Vic's sister Mabel and brother Carl. This page contains nearly 80 photographs from many sources, covering a 100-year time period from 1920 to 2019.
Sometime around 1948 the Carlson family aquired a color slide camera. They used that camera to record a variety of activities and people; Bob and Dorothy both saved slides. Unfortunately, those color slides tended to degrade.
From the early 1950s until 1966 most of the family pictures saved and recovered recorded Vic and Jenny and their grandchildren. Find more pictures by Clare Wilcox here.
John Victor Carlson died in 1966; Jenny Marie Carlson died in 1967. Group pictures from 1968 onward tend to come from family reunions or other special events. Starting from around 1998, with encouragement and assistance from Betty Ramont and Stewart Carlson, I began identifying and digitizing informative and interesting photographs.
A few photographs from 2002 to 2019.
