We visited Yellowstone National Park many times. We often passed through on trips between Boulder and Bozeman. One winter we arranged to stay near Old Faithful. Now, living on the northern edge of the greater Yellowstone ecosystem, we try to visit the Park at quiet times in the off seasons.
We find thermal features throughout the Park and surrounding regions. Occasionally we join crowds watching Old Faithful geyser erupt. More often we visit smaller colorful and interesting features. We can visit Mammoth Hot Springs in winter.
With its vast size and northern location, Yellowstone National Park holds key populations of fish, birds and animals.
We feel very privaleged to enjoy winter in Yellowtone National Park!
